Ceramic Round Brush Manufacturer — Nano-Ceramic & Ionic Wholesale OEM
Mackay manufactures professional ceramic round brushes engineered for the high-heat demands of salon blowouts. Our nano-ceramic barrels retain heat 30% longer than standard aluminum, delivering faster styling with less repeated heat exposure on the hair. Available in three core technology platforms: nano-ceramic for general thermal styling (most popular for salon kits), ionic tourmaline-infused ceramic for negative ion emission and anti-frizz performance, and thermal aluminum with ceramic coating for the fastest heat-up time during professional blowouts.
Each ceramic round brush mold can be configured with three bristle options: heat-resistant PA66 nylon (rated to 220°C), premium PA46 nylon (rated to 285°C), or natural boar bristle for added shine and oil distribution. Mixed boar-and-nylon configurations are also available for brands wanting the versatility of both. Barrel diameters span from 19mm precision brushes for bangs to 80mm volume brushes for long thick hair — with 25mm, 32mm, 43mm, and 53mm representing the four sizes that drive 80%+ of salon orders worldwide.
For the natural-bristle side of the range, see our boar bristle round brush options for professional buyers.
Every ceramic round brush is available for OEM/ODM customization including Pantone color coating on the handle and barrel, custom logo printing (pad print, heat transfer, laser engraving), handle material selection (ABS, rubber-grip), and retail-ready packaging with FBA labels. MOQ starts at 300 pieces per style using our existing mold library. Ceramic Round Brush FAQ — Common Questions from Brand Buyers
What is the difference between ceramic and thermal round brushes?
Ceramic round brushes use a nano-ceramic-coated barrel that retains heat evenly and emits far-infrared rays during styling — gentler on the hair shaft and reduces frizz. Pure thermal aluminum brushes heat up faster but cool down faster too, requiring constant heat re-application during styling. Ceramic-coated thermal aluminum combines both: fast heat-up + sustained retention. Most professional salon brands choose ceramic-coated thermal as their default specification.
Do you offer ionic ceramic round brushes?
Yes. Our ionic ceramic round brushes use tourmaline-infused ceramic coating that releases negative ions when heated. Negative ions seal the hair cuticle, reducing static and frizz while enhancing shine. Ionic technology is particularly effective on fine hair, frizz-prone hair, and color-treated hair. Available in all standard barrel diameters.
What temperature can your nylon bristles withstand?
Standard PA66 nylon bristles are rated to 220°C (428°F) continuous use — well above the maximum heat output of any consumer or professional hair dryer. Premium PA46 nylon is rated to 285°C (545°F) for the highest-tier salon brands. Both nylon types are paired with our ceramic barrels without risk of melting, deforming, or losing bristle tension over time.
Can ceramic round brushes use boar bristles instead of nylon?
Yes. All 56 of our round brush molds can be configured with natural boar bristle, pure nylon, or mixed boar-and-nylon bristle. Boar bristle on a ceramic barrel produces the highest-end professional finish — boar bristle adds shine and distributes natural scalp oils, while the ceramic barrel provides the thermal styling power. This combination is preferred by premium salon brands targeting the $40-$80 retail price point.
What is the MOQ for custom ceramic round brushes?
300 pieces per style for stock designs using existing molds, 500 pieces for ODM modifications (custom Pantone color, custom handle material), and 3,000 pieces for full OEM custom mold development. Pantone color matching and custom logo printing are included at all MOQ levels with no minimum color quantity.
Which barrel size should I include in my brand’s product line?
Based on order data from our salon brand clients, the four sizes that drive 80%+ of sales are: 25mm (short hair / bangs styling), 32mm (medium-length blowouts), 43mm (long hair daily blowout — the bestseller), and 53mm (volume blowouts for long thick hair). For a complete professional kit, add 19mm (precision / bangs) and 65mm (oversized volume for thick coarse hair). See our size chart guide for detailed recommendations.
